White took the imaginary throne in 2011 and has held it every year so far. Even last year, 2016, White extended its lead by several percent. Perhaps surprisingly, white paint lasts the longest when clean and does not need to be washed as often. As far as car brands are concerned, the Czech brand Skoda produces and sells the most white cars, followed by brands such as Renault, Audi, Kia, and Volvo.

At first glance, it may seem that the global automotive industry is not awash in color palettes, but it is not so clear-cut. Silver is a very popular color, followed by white and then gray. These are the colors of choice for many gentleman drivers. Classic black is also popular.
Pastel colors have been overshadowed by brown, while brown has risen in popularity. Blue has taken a step up in popularity. By my estimation, green should gradually come to the forefront as well.
On the other hand, purple, yellow-green, and blue-green are the least popular. Black, brown, and green are considered to be the colors of cars from a safety standpoint.
